I don't know regarding you but I absolutely cannot watch the tube or listen to the radio (in the car) anymore without hearing a particular ad for a reverse mortgage company that could cure all the ills you have.
No wonder. Reverse mortgages are 1 pertaining to the fastest growing markets in lending in the country and….here's the good news most of their potential customers are not even eligible yet- BABY BOOMERS all 78 million of them could be eligible at age 62.

One thing that is a marvel to me as a former economics minor, back in the day, is how the marketplace works. 5 years ago absolutely no 1 even heard of a reverse mortgages. 2 years ago folks greeted them with much skepticism. Last year they grew at a stunning 77% for the fiscal year ending 30 September, 2k6.
As our market economy is designed, at the time the need/demand for products grows so does the variety of offerings for that product. including the competition could make the pricing more competitive. Reverse mortgages are absolutely no different.
Several new products are slated to come out the year. More competition means lower rates including fees. So if you are in the market for a reverse mortgage WAIT JUST A MINUTE! Things are heating up in the reverse mortgage market including you, the consumer, are going to be the beneficiary. including with literally millions of Americans fast approaching the magic age of 62 the marketplace could continue to respond favorably.
